Much loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Wayne* and Bronwyn (Invercargill), Neil and Kate (Invercargill), Wendy and Peter (Cromwell), and Stewart *. Special friend of Anne-Marie (Invercargill). Val was a special “wee Nana” to her grandchildren: Daniel and Kate, Richard and Kate, Katherine and Aidan, Margot and Brandon, Sarah and Simon, Rachel and Mark, Matthew and Samantha, Ryan and Sarah, Jacob and Natasha. She was a great-grandmother to 19 great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Val’s life will be held on Wednesday August 19 at 11.00am, at the Presbyterian Church, 11 Meldrum Street, Winton.
