Passed away peacefully in rest home care after a long illness in Hamilton, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in her 87th year. Loved wife of the late Alan Gieseg of Invercargill. Respected mother to Steven and Sarah Gieseg (Christchurch), Karen and Andrew Trebilcock (Mosgiel), and Michael and Sarah Gieseg (Hamilton). Valued Grandma to Angus and Nawe Gieseg, Fraser Gieseg, Gavin and Martha Trebilcock, Brad Trebilcock, and Annalise and Lydia Gieseg. Sister to Douglas*, David*, Neil* and Doreen Smith. Sister-in-law to Eric and Norma* Gieseg, David and Jan Gieseg, Marlene and Allan* Henderson. A memorial to Linda's life will be held in Southland. Passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland on Tuesday, 21 July, aged 83 years, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of Noel* Richardson and Ray* Murphy. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Mike and Anne, Tina and Sonny, and Darren and Laura. Treasured Nana and Gam Gam of her 8 grandchildren, 12½ great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Dearly loved sister of Margaret, Bob, and Faye*. Beloved member of her Southern Gold Marching Family. A memorial service to celebrate Dawn's life will be held at the Salvation Army Church, Victoria Avenue, on Saturday, 25 July, commencing at 1.00pm.
