A service to celebrate Jenny’s life will be held in St Aidans Anglican Church, Shannon Street, Alexandra, on Saturday, 20 June, at 11:00am, followed by private cremation. Passed to his rest on Saturday, 13th June 2026, now awaiting the call of our life giver Christ Jesus. Much loved husband and friend of Ruth. Loved son of George* and Stella* Pearce. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Dave* and Annie*, Stella* and Bill* Cavanaugh. Loved dad and dad-in-law of Grant and Alison (Tasmania), Bruce and Jacki, Jane and Peter Salt (Brisbane), Carman, Maurice, Raoul and Debbie, Kyle and Kerry, and Stepfather of Shane and Tracey, and Gavin and Jane. Jenny passed away peacefully on 9th June, 2026 at Windsor Park, Gore; aged 85 years. Loved wife of the late Ray, mother of Paul, and Brenda, and a much-loved grandmother of Jenna, and Katie. A celebration of Jenny’s life will be held in the Clinton Community Centre, Main Road, Clinton, on Thursday 25th June at 1:00pm, followed by interment at the Clinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Balclutha St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at her service. For those unable to attend, a livestream link will be available on Leishman’s website.
STANTON Lorraine Ruth (nee Graeve):
Peacefully, at Hospice Southland, on Monday June 15, 2026, aged 76 years. Loved and devoted wife of Mike for 55 years, dearly loved and cherished Mum and mother-in-law of Rochelle and Wayne, Nathan and Fran, and Julianne. Devoted Gran to all of her Grandchildren. Loved daughter of the late Fred and Norma Graeve, loved sister and sister-in-law of *Margaret and *Raymond, Janice and *Morris, and *Alister. Admired by all her nieces and nephews. In accordance with Lorraine's wishes a private service has been held. A special thankyou to the District Nurses and Hospice Southland for their wonderful care of Lorraine.
