BROWN Bruce Reginald (Brownie):
Peacefully with his family by his side on 20th August 2026, aged 69. Brownie decided he had enough and wanted to go have some beers with his old friends. He will be enormously missed by Jamie, Aleisha, Cameron, and Brittany and Grandchildren Tayne, Kaylee, Ollie, Kyson, Mason, Austin ,Moose, and his best mate Bernie. A service to celebrate and remember the life and times of Brownie will be held 1pm, Thursday 27th August at J Fraser and Son's Chapel , Corner or Esk and Doon Street, Invercargill. DENSTON, Brian John:
Passed peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Clutha Health First; aged 63 years. Loved only son of Bev and the late John, loved brother and brother-in-law
of Pauline and Stephen Owen-Cooper, Robyn, and Joanne. A loved uncle and great-uncle. At Brian’s request, a private cremation has been held. Messages to 29A Renfrew Street, Balclutha 9230.

Faul, Murray Gardner:
On Tuesday 18 August 2026 after 97 years the sun finally set on Murray’s life. He passed peacefully at Ascot Care Home. He was the loved husband of the late Denise Faul (nee Tattersfield) and loved father of his five daughters Pam and Robin Wilson, Narelle and the late Brett Pollock (Te Kuiti), Sheryl and John Leonard (Clyde), Andrea and Jack Tither and Jennifer and Eugene Skerrett. Murray was the proud Grandad of Nikki, Sonya and Abbey Wilson, Kerryn Pollock, Anna Kydd and Belinda Cammock, Reon Tither, Rory Leonard and their partners. He tried very hard to keep track of all his 14 great grandchildren. Murray was the loved younger brother of the late Dulcie Stewart and Jack Faul. Loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank all the carers who have looked after Dad since he lost Mum. A special thank you to Leah Brown, Nurse Practitioner, for being such a strong advocate for Dad over the last year and always treating him and us with respect, patience and dignity. We will celebrate Murray’s life with an informal gathering on Tuesday 8 September 2026 at 11am at the graveside Block 53, Eastern Cemetery, Invercargill when we will inter his ashes with Mum. Peacefully on Friday 14th  August 2026 at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village surrounded by her close friends Steve and Karen. Loved mother of Diana* and Lynda, loved grandma of Alyshia, Leigh and Violet, and great grandma, Aged 84 years. The family would like to thank the staff at Rowena Jackson for their care of Hilary. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Rowena Jackson, Invercargill. Aged 92 years. Dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Doug.  Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Elaine McEvoy and Russell Paterson; Jo and the late Grenville Robinson; Lyndal Robinson and Jim Lines; Craig and Jackie Robinson; and Paul and Jill Robinson. Adored grandmother of Nick and Caitlin; Hannah, Elliot and Leah; Maggie and Isla; Eve, Scarla and Theo and partners. Loved  great grandmother of Caleb, Niamh, Ella, Esme, Rosa, Fionn, Daisy, April, Tui and Max. Much loved daughter of Bessie and John Anderson*. Loved sister of Bill*, Hughan*, Isobel* and their families. Loved member of the Robinson family. The family would like to thank the staff at The Salisbury Wing, Rowena Jackson for the wonderful care and compassion shown during her time there.
