CLARK, James McKenzie (Jimmy):
Passed away peacefully at Kew Hospital on Friday 6 March, aged 84 years. Much loved husband of the late Judy. Loved Dad of Kerry and Ray, Lesley and Les, Stephen, Ange and Alf. Cherished Grandad and Great grandad of many, he was the best Grandad ever. The family would like to say thank you to all of Jimmy’s caregivers. A Memorial service to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held in the Otautau Combined Sports Complex, 20 Hulme Street, Otautau on Friday 13 March at 11.00am, Followed by a private Interment of Jimmy’s ashes. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at home, on Friday March 6, 2026, loved husband of Rosemary, loved dad of Nikki and Chris Boyce, Mark and Tenneille, friend to Matt and Katrina Brasier, Helen and Harley Stewart, loved grandad to Dannika, Cooper, Ben, Luke, Calliope, Khione, Penelope. Son of the late Allen and Valerie Collins, brother and brother-in-law of Bruce and Sue, Shirley Haig and Geoff, Gary and Rachael, Vicki and Earl Dillon, Clive and Cathy, Chris Thomas, loved uncle to his nieces and nephews. Thanks to Hospice Southland, Rhida Bautista Dunedin Public Hospital and Doctors at Gore Health. At Owen’s request a private cremation has been held. Messages to 52 Johnston Street, Gore 9710.
HARWOOD, Jill Elizabeth:
Suddenly on Thursday, 5th March 2026 in the care of Southland Hospital, aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Don. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Caleb, Simon and Donna, Reuben, and Tim and Amanda. Adored Gran of Samantha, Conor and Martina, Aidan, Dawn, Scott and Great Gran of Meyghan, Thea, Charlie, Finley, Fern, Murray, Millie, and Emily. Loved sister of Stuart, Anne, and Peter*. A loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Jill's life will be held in the Southland Crematorium Chapel, Rockdale Road, Invercargill on Wednesday, 11th March at 2:00pm.
