MANSON, John Andrew:
John passed away peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by his family, in the loving care of the staff at Clare House, Invercargill. John was the loved husband of Lynley. Adored father of Paul*, Andrew* and Rachael. Treasured son of Ernest* and Caroline* Manson. Cherished brother of Stuart*, Barrie*, and Carol-Ann. Loved son-in-law of Mick* and Chris* Callahan, and beloved brother-in-law, uncle, and great-uncle to the Manson and Callahan families. A private cremation and celebration of John’s life has been held in Invercargill. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff at Clare House, Wyndham Community Rest Home and MonArc Health for the amazing care they provided to John. ROBERTSON, Vera Ann (Ann):
At Southland Hospital on Friday, 10 July 2026, aged 76 years. Loved mother of Anita Ward and sister and sister-in-law of Carolyn and Allen Ingles. Loved partner of the late Donald Nelson. Loved daughter of the late Betty and Alf Robertson. Ann was a loved member of the Robertson and Nelson families and a good friend to many. Ann’s family wish to acknowledge the service and care given to her by the Health Care providers, St John’s, BUPA Longwood, Southland Hospital and in particular the in-home carers. A service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, on Thursday, 16th July at 11:00am, the service will conclude with the burial at the Riverton Cemetery.
