JOHNSTONE, Noeline:
20.6.1952 - 2.1.2026
Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in Cairns, Australia. Dearly loved wife of Alan. Most loving mother and mother-in-law of Mark and Annie (Bahrain), Niki and Nicola (Auckland), Kristan and Ruth (Bristol), and Emma and Michael (Cairns). Cherished Grannie Noels to her adored fourteen grandchildren. Loving sister and sister-in-law to Russell and Lynley, Irene, Maurice (dec) and Rose, Margaret, Liz and Barry, and Paul and Jocelyn. Loved aunt, cousin and friend to so many. As per Noeline's wishes, she has been privately cremated, and celebrations of her life will be held at later dates in both Mossman and Wanaka. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone at the Liz Plummer Cancer Care Centre, Dunedin Oncology Department and staff at Dunstan Hospital. Messages to [email protected].

LOVE, Adam Falconer:
Peacefully passed away surrounded by family, at Hospice Southland, on Thursday 8th January 2026. Aged 91 years. Beloved husband of Jean. Proud father of Robert, Kenneth, and Jackie and father-in-law of Jonni, and the late Les. Loved Grandad of Sarah, Robert, Katie, and Hamish and Great Grandad of Konner and Jackson. Loving uncle of Scott. Grateful thanks to the Medical staff, Kew Hospital and Hospice Southland for their excellent care of Adam. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and maybe left at the service. A service to celebrate Adam’s life will be held in J Fraser & Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Street’s, Invercargill, on Thursday 15th January, at 1.30pm. Of Invercargill. Passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the age of 83 years, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Lynette*. Much loved father and father-in-law of Aaron and Mary, Kirsten and James Watson. Adored grandad of Eve and Ben, Leah and Stef, Elizabeth, Jack. Special great-grandad to Eden. Loved uncle of Reirani, and Jacqui* Taurima, Kim, and Brad Stuart, and their families. A service to celebrate Lloyd's life will be held at J Fraser and Sons' Chapel, corner of Esk and Doon Streets Invercargill on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 10.30am, followed by the interment at Eastern Cemetery. Early on Thursday 8 January 2026. Aged 78 years. Loved son of the late Donald Shadbolt and Josien Kral/ Shadbolt. Loved partner of Asha.
Loved father of Robert, Rueben and Benjamin Shadbolt ( Auckland) and Declan Lawton-Dutt ( Invercargill). Loved brother and friend/brother-in-law of Rodney Shadbolt and Sue ( Helensville) and Peter and Annette Kral ( Christchurch). Loved grandfather and uncle of his many grandchildren and niece/nephews.

A public service to celebrate Sir Tim’s life will be held in The Civic Theatre, 88 Tay Street, Invercargill, at 2.00pm, on Friday January 16. Private thereafter. " As a mark of respect to Sir Tim it is requested that attendees wear formal, dark, mourning attire. Dark Lounge suit for men."
