MURRELL, Ricky:
Ayear has passed, and I still only see you in my dreams. I know you are closer to all of us now than ever before. I know you are at peace, but we are the ones who are hurting because we can't hear your voice, and I can't see your beautiful eyes shining back at me. Honey, everyone loves you. You have been constantly remembered, and your memory has been honored in so many ways. You accomplished far more than you ever thought you did. Over this past year, I have learned that death is not a punishment. Otherwise, what would be the purpose of this precious thing we call life? Just as Pat taught you not to be afraid of dying, you have now taught me the same. You would be so proud of your children and our precious grandchildren. You would be proud of your siblings, your wonderful friends, and our family. It is only by God's grace that I am still standing, and it is through Him that I know we will be together again.
Te amo, today and always.
