Peacefully at Ripponburn Home and Hospital, Cromwell, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, aged 80 years. Dearly loved and wonderful husband of Mary (Queenstown), for 46.5 years, much loved Dad and wonderful father of James (Cromwell). Loved 2nd son of Harry* and Mavis* Joyce, brother and brother-in-law of Lance and Joyce* (Dunedin), and Susan*, Neil and Margaret Chapman (Christchurch), and loved uncle of Steven and family (Perth) and Brenda and family (Auckland).
“We loved him very much” A service to celebrate Terry’s life, will be held in Wakatipu Presbyterian Church, Cnr Ross and McBride Streets, Queenstown, on Friday, 24th July at 1.00 pm, followed by interment, at Frankton Cemetery. Special thanks to Rev. Clay Peterson and our local church family, thank you all for your support and help the whole way through, it meant so much and we are very grateful. Passed away peacefully by her loving husband’s side, on Saturday 18th July 2026. Aged 71 years. Dearly loved wife of Neil. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Greg and Lana, Kristy and Stefan, and Nigel and Ange. Cherished sister, sister-in-law, and grandmother. Special thanks to Carol and Valerie, along with the Oncology Team at Dunedin Hospital for their compassionate care. Strong, independent, and wonderfully stubborn, Carolyn faced life on her own terms while always keeping her family, friends, and community close to her heart.
