(Merv from Makarewa)
16 February 2021
Five years today you left us
Best friend, much-loved and greatly missed husband of Karen, a wonderful and respected stepdad, Grandad, Great-Grandad, son-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend.
I miss you more than anyone knows
As time goes by the emptiness grows
I laugh, I talk, I play my part
But behind my smile is a broken heart.
