HORRELL, George Maxwell (Max).
Passed away peacefully after a short illness at Southland Hospital, on Sunday, June 30, 2019, aged 85 years and 364 days. Dearly loved husband and best friend of the late Linda, loved and respected father, father-in-law and Pops of Willy; Morgan and Karen, Zara, Jake, Sam, and Dan; Clarke and Megan, Charlotte, Lucy, and Jack, a loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Bill and Claire Horrell. A private family funeral and interment will be held. “Huntly Farm” and the Horrell Family would like to warmly invite you to join us from 1.00pm to celebrate Max’s life at the Waikaia Hotel, 38 Blaydon Street, on Friday, July 5, with memories to be shared at 2.30pm. A cup of tea and refreshments will be provided. Thank you to Windsor Park Care Home for the love and care of Max over the past three years. Aged 61 years. Sadly, Ku slipped away peacefully on July 1, 2019, at home with her loving family at her side. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Graham, much loved mother and mother-in-law of James and the late Rebecca, Alyscia and Jason Leevey, David and Holly, and cherished Nanny of Marley, Kaya, Ridge, Zion, and the late Shontayne. A service of farewell for Ku will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019, at 2.00pm, in Simpson Park, Lawrence, then leaving for the Lawrence Cemetery. Peacefully at Clare House in the early hours on July 2, 2019. Very much loved mother and mother-in-law of Pauline, Kevin and Rosemary, Jay, Brent and Odette. Cherished Granna/Nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Clare House for all they did for Mum. A Service will be held at the Invercargill Christian Centre (formerly the Wool Exchange), 165 Leet Street, Invercargill, at 2.00pm, on Thursday, July 4, 2019. On Monday, July 1, 2019, in the respectful and dedicated care of Bupa Lake Wakatipu Care Home, surrounded with love. Deeply loved wife of the late Fenton, adored and respected mother and mother-in-law of the late Neale, Gretchen Mark-Dear and Graeme Dear (Queenstown), Derek and Deidre (Perth). Much loved Mamma of Kate and Daniel Batkin, and Hamish Dear; Rose and Ross, Peter, Anna and Finnian (Perth), adoring Mamma of Lucy and Olivia Batkin. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Graham and Clare Mortimer, Noeline and the late Alan Carter, Peggy and the late Ern Hitchcock, the late Betty Winders, the late John and Val Mark, and a much loved Aunt. (Peacefully) After a short illness on Monday, July 1, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at Gore Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Ngaire. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Raymond (Joe) Collins, Lynne and Ellis Winsloe, Robert (Bob) and Sharon Collins, Trevor and Trish Collins, Evan (Prudy) and Janeece Collins.
