Peacefully, at home, on Monday, September 26, 2022, aged 79 years. Much loved wife of the late Alastair, loved Mum of Bruce and Robyn, Craig and Jo, Malcolm and Rachael, and loved Nan of AnnaMaree, Andrew, and Fiona; Max, and Laura; Christina, and James, and loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A memorial service of celebration for Margaret will be held at the Mataura Presbyterian Church, Kana Street, on Friday, September 30, at 2.00pm, followed by a cuppa. Peacefully at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village, on 23rd September 2022. Aged 84 years. Loved wife of the late Keith Baird. Mother of Christine, and David. Grandmother of Auskir, Chloe, and Holly. On Tuesday September 27, 2022 at Southland Hospital, Invercargill. Beloved husband of the late Elaine. McARA, Betty Eileen (nee Ralston):
Unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Beloved wife of the late John McAra, died August 18, 2021. Much loved mother of Maree, Carol, and Craig, proud mother-in-law of Martin, and Mark. Cherished Nana of Chantelle, Nathan, and Morgan. Also a loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.

McBRIDE, Valerie Margaret (Val):
(Formerly of Mossburn, Te Anau and Winton) Val is now at rest on Sunday, September 25, 2022, in her 80th year. Loved wife of the late Jim, and loved mother of Sandy, Karen, Shaun, Charleen (deceased), and Richard. Loved mother-in-law, Grandma, sister, sister-in-law, aunty and friend of many.

MORTON, John Bower:
Of Top View Seaward Downs Southland, died on Monday, September 19, 2022. He was surrounded by his three children: Lise, Carolyn and Bruce. A treasured and much-loved father who is dearly missed. Loved father-in-law to Sarah, and adored “Grandpops” to Jack and George. Dearly loved brother of Alison and Uncle to Yvonne, Heather and John. Beloved son of the late John and Johan Morton.
