It is with huge sadness we advise that Faye passed away at home on Monday 21 March 2022 after a short illness.  Faye was a dearly loved and loving wife of the late Morrell; and a dearly loved mother, mother-in-law, Nana and Nanny Faye of Karen & Alistair McLeod, Jordan & Hayden, Olivia & Mason McBeath, Bonnie McLeod & Eden, & Megan McLeod; Lynne Gray & Craig Drain, Justine & Jason, Frankie & Sylvie Paul, Nina Horner; Eoin & Lee-Anne, Ryan, Sam, Alistair, Matthew & Mary Gray.  Dearly loved friend of Sherree & Justin. Paul and Lyn* (Christchurch), Barbara and Charlie Palmer (Sydney), a much loved Grandmother to all her grandchildren. A service for Doris will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Thursday 24 th March at 10.30am, with interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery. Suddenly and unexpectedly with Val by his side. Dearly loved by Val Whicker, loved father, father in law, and Granda, of Rachel McFetridge, Danny, James, and Thomas Lynskey; Sarah, Dean, Julia, Luke, and Alice Harvey; loved stepfather and ‘Bob’ of Laura Whicker, Paul Scrimgour, Emma, Tim, Henry, and Patrick Begg, and James Scrimgour; and Aaron Whicker. On March 20, 2022. Peacefully at Palm Grove Rest Home, Christchurch, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Rata. Much loved Mother and Mother in law of Paul and Cathy and Granma Connie of Eva and Hannah. Special thanks to the staff at Palm Grove for their amazing care of Connie over the past 11 years. A celebration of Connie’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 11 am, on Saturday March 26. Private interment at Riverton Cemetery thereafter. Unexpectedly on Monday, March 21, 2022, in Queenstown. Aged 66 years. Dearly loved husband of Sheila and loved father to Jessie, Isaac, Hayley, Dylan and their families. A service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held on Friday, March 25, at 4.00pm in the Lake Hayes Pavillion, 1/719 Gibbston Highway, Lake Hayes, followed by a private cremation.
