Called home to be with Jesus, after a brief stay at Windsor Park Care Home, Gore on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in her 87th year. Loved wife of the late Alan, friend and encourager to Jean and Rex (Christchurch), Elijah and Karen (Gore), Andrew and Wendy (Colorado Springs), Malcolm and Jo (Gore), Richard and Trish (Kaitaia), and their children. Passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, at Lake Wakatipu Home and Hospital, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Victor, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Ian and Janice, Robin and Peter Cox, Wendy and the late John Crawford, the late Jennifer, and Barbara and Jarrad Murray, loved Gran of Barrie, Jane, Rebecca, David, Ingrid, Michael, Nicola and Isabella, and great-grandmother of Hope and Miles. A celebration of Elsie’s life will be held in St Margaret’s Presbyterian Church, Ross Street, Frankton, on Friday, December 18, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Lumsden Cemetery, at 2.30pm.
