Suddenly at home. Father of Maryanne, Lyndal and Boyd, Richard and Gillian and Grandad to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. A loved brother, Brother-in-law and uncle of his extended family. A service to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Thursday, 13th October at 1:00pm. On Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Queen Rose Retirement Home. Loved wife of the late Des, and the late Ben Gibbs (Bluff), loved Mum and mother-in-law of John and Lynne Gibbs (Auckland), Trevor Gibbs and partner Rachael (Christchurch), Megan and Norm Russell. Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7 2022. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Leigh. MCKENZIE, Gwenda:
Mckenzie, Gwenda Henriette Jessie (formerly from Gore) passed away peacefully at Vickery Court Rest Home, Invercargill, on Friday 7th October 2022 in her 92nd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Allan. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Jeffrey(Christchurch), Jan and John Harris (Invercargill), David and Janine (Alexandra), Jillian and Mark Nickel (Wellington), and John (Christchurch). A loving Nana to Katherine and Hamish Mckenzie, Matthew, Scott and Nicholas Harris, Erin, Josh, and Jack McKenzie, William and Robert Nickel, and a Great Nana to Elliot, Kip, and Henry. Loved sister and sister-in-law to Betty and the late Athol Wills and Ken and Avis Kingsland. She will be greatly missed.

Passed away at home on Monday, October 10, 2022, in Invercargill, aged 74 years. Childhood sweetheart, loving husband and soulmate of Isabel.
