BURGESS, Stuart Arthur (Stu):
On September 26, 2022, peacefully at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton, after a long illness. Aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Rayna. Beloved Dad of Kareen and Stuart Dunlop, Peter and Esther, Robin and Paula, and Chris and Darin Goldsack. Loving Grandad of Adele, and Dale; and Sammy, and Max. Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Tuarangi Home for their love and care of Stuart. Messages to the Burgess family, PO Box 5020, Tinwald, Ashburton 7741. A service in remembrance of Stuart will be held in Our Chapel, cnr East & Cox Streets, Ashburton on Thursday, September 29, commencing at 11.00am, followed by interment at the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.

DEVERY, Margaret Teresa (nee Forde):
Passed away suddenly but peacefully, on Wednesday, 21 September, 2022 at Clare House; in her 90th year. Loved wife of the late Bruce; loved mother & mother-in-law of Grant & Leona (Queenstown); Tim (Christchurch); Fiona (Australia); and the late Michael a much-loved Nana of Melanie, Phillip, Kelly, Jodie, Brad & Rachel, Katie, Jessica, Mitchell & Great Nana of Lily, Indi, Isla, Stevie & Lucas. A Requiem Mass for Margaret will be held in St Theresa’s Catholic Church, Perth Street, Invercargill, at 11am on Thursday, 29 September, followed by burial at Tuatapere Cemetery. Peacefully on Wednesday, 22 September 2022, aged 17 years. Son of Nigel and Janelle, brother of Mason and Taylor, cherished partner of Kitana and loved “son” and big/little brother to Roy, Stacy, Elena and Izack Poutasi. Loved grandson of Doug and Marion McDonald and Kenneth Ladbrook * and Nancy Paaka *. Treasured nephew and cousin of many. A fun loving, cheeky, loyal, protector and leader of friends and family.
