Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Dale & Annette, Robin & Carol, Ayleen & Gary, Valerie & James, Judith, Sandra and their families. On Saturday May 14, 2022 at Bupa Care Home in Riverton. After a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Loved mother of Asha and friend of Mayor Tim. Loved grandmother of Declan. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Evan and Lynn Lawton ( Queenstown.) Loved daughter of the late Esmè and Noel Lawton. Aged 75 years. (peacefully) in her 94th year, on Saturday 14 May 2022, at Rowena Jackson. Dearly loved wife of the late John Sturman. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Pam Slocombe (Invercargill), Dave and Erin (Christchurch), and Karen (Invercargill). Loved Nana and Great Nana of Nick, Emma, Charlotte and Madison Slocombe (Rolleston), Tim Slocombe (Auckland), Anna and Simon (Sydney), Thomas, Ben and Sam Sturman (Christchurch). A service for Rowa will be held at Windsor Community Church at 1.30pm on Thursday 19 May. After the service the funeral cortege will leave for the Eastern Cemetery. 19.03.1945 – 15.05.2022, After a short illness John passed away in the care of Peacehaven. Eldest son of David* and Sylvia*.
