STONE, Mary (Dorothea). Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Loved wife of Lew, loved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother of Chris, Susie, Georgia, Lucy, and Anna Stone, Bryan (Moka) Stone; Margaret, Damian, Paddy, Louis, and Florence Fox; Barbara, John, Connie, Finn, and Emmy Sullivan; Jack, Sally, Sophie, Frank, and Will Stone; Rosie, Grant, Laura, Hannah, Olivia, and Ella Dowling; Julie, Kevin, Brooke, and Jack Dyer. Aged 91 years. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the St Thomas Aquinas Church Winton on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11.00am, followed by an interment at East Winton Cemetery. WARD, Irene Mary (nee Driver). Our Mum passed peacefully at Longwood Care Home, Riverton, on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, aged 92 years. Beloved wife of the late George. Loved mum and mum-in-law of Barry and Nan Ward (Nelson), and Suzanne and Eddie van der Meys (Riverton). Loved grandma of Nik Ward and Rose Allen (Nelson), Jenna Ward and Michael Nichols (Auckland), Mark van der Meys and Susie Acton-Adams, and Juliana and Rodney Hern (Christchurch). Loved great-granny of Ben and Macy Hern, Keira and Jarius van der Meys (Christchurch), and Jack Ward (Nelson). As to Irene’s wishes she has donated her body to the Otago Medical School.
