FREW, Christine. Ms. Christine Denise Frew, born on November 3, 1955, in Invercargill. Daughter to Dorothy Frew and the late Angus Frew, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side at age 62, on August 30, 2018, in Southland Hospital. Christine is survived by her sons, Corey Young and partner Caro, Nathan Menpes and wife Monique, children Hailey, James and Lauchlan, Gargz Young and wife Tracy, with their son Duqe, with whom she loved as much as a Mum/Nana could possibly love children and grandchildren. We all knew this as we were told daily. Christine Frew, our Mum, Nana, Aunty, friend was simply one of God’s gifts, a pure angel full of love, especially for her Mum in Peace Haven, Dot Frew. Thank you to Jolene and Hayden, Sally and Nathan, Carolyn, Christine’s nieces, for your friendship and love to our Mum. You know it was dearly reciprocal. With an abundance of special love to Kobe, Kiera, Khellsey-Anna, Kaytlin, Ella Rose, Taylor, Callum and Stella. A special thank you to Robert and Brenda for looking out for our Mum. FITZPATRICK, Alina Iris. Of Kaitangata. Unexpectedly on September 3, 2018, aged 51 years. Dearly loved and much missed Mum of Billie Sothern (Christchurch), loved daughter of Margaret Gorrie (Dunedin) and the late Perry Fitzpatrick. Big sister of her late brothers George and Aden, and former partner of Terry Sothern (Lumsden). At Alina’s request a private service has been held.
