McDOWELL, Harriet Elizabeth It is with great sadness that we say farewell to our wonderful Mum and Nana, who passed away peacefully in our arms on Tuesday 23 October 2018. Words cannot express how much we are going to miss you. The hole you leave in our lives is immense. A very loving Mother of Rochelle and Stephen Winteringham, cherished Nanna of Theo and Francie, and adored Nanna Nanna of Beau. “We will miss You” As per Harriet’s request, a private graveside service has been held. NEILSON Gwenda Marion (nee Wyeth). Peacefully on Monday 22nd October 2018 at Peacehaven, aged 91 years. Loved wife of Ron, Loved Mother and Mother in law of Graham and Alison, and Murray and Jan. Loved grandmother of Christian and Benjamin. Special thanks to the nurses and carers that looked after Gwen at Peacehaven. As per Gwen’s wishes a private family service has been held. BARRETT, Ronald Ashley. Peacefully passed away at Peacehaven on October 22, 2018, aged 90. Dearly loved and cherished husband of the late Tukunoa Kiwi, and much loved father and father-in-law of the late Trevor, Daphne and Graham, Chris and Liz, Pady and Lester, the late Maree, Verna and Paul, Rhonda and Lloyd, and his many grandchildren. In accordance with Ron’s wishes he was interred on October 25 at the Tuatapere Cemetery.
COOTE, Brian John (Sam). Suddenly, on October 25, 2018. Dearly loved husband of Joyce, much loved father and father-in-law of Michael and Ngaire (Ashburton), Stephen and Rebecca (Balclutha), and a cherished Grandad of Matthew, Logan, and Abby; Penny, and Harry. Dearly loved wife of the late Keith, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Julie Drummond (Arrowtown), Debra and Nick Jones (Queenstown), and Paula and Graeme Watson (Queenstown), adored Nana to Celia and Jack (Wellington), Eva and David (Christchurch), and Jeremy and Julie (Christchurch), Olivia and Rob (Kingston), Genevieve and Kyle (Queensland), Emma and Kahn (Queenstown), Sarah and Nat (Wellington), the late Simon, and Alex (Queenstown), a very special great-grandmother to Sienna and Ava (Queensland). WEUSTEN, Gwendoline (Gwenda) (nee Wood). On October 24, 2018 (unexpectedly). A loved wife of the late Piet, loved mum to Michael and Delwyn, Peter and Elizabeth, Rosemarie and Warren, and David and Wendy. Nana to Alexia, Stephanie, Jonathan, Rachel, Timothy, Catherine, Michael, Rebekka and Johanna. Great- nana to Ezekiel, Caleb, Oliver, Jennie and Scarlett. She is at peace with her heavenly Father and Piet. A memorial service, to celebrate all that Gwenda was to so many, will be held on Friday, November 2, at 1.30 pm at Avonhead Baptist Church.
