Passed away peacefully, on Friday, May 10, 2019 in the loving care of the staff at Holmdene Rest Home, Balclutha; aged 101 years. Loved and cherished wife of the late George and beloved mother and mother-in-law of Andrew and Gaynor, Averil and Vic, Bryce and Liz, Claire and Brent, Owen and Barbara, and special friend of Gail. Dearly loved grandmother of her 14 grandchildren and 32.5 great-grandchildren. Oliver and family wish to sincerely thank all those who supported them with flowers, cards, food, visits and phone calls on the sad loss of Kay, a wife, mother, mother-in-law and nanny. Angela, Michael, Caitlin, Doug and Jan, Anne and Lewis, and extended families, wish to sincerely thank all those who have acknowledged the passing of Graeme; a dearly loved and most cherished husband, dad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. Our special and sincere thanks to the following: The Haematology Team at Dunedin Hospital, especially Annette Neylon and Nurses Rosie and Val, Wanaka Medical Centre, District Nurses, and the Central Otago Hospice. It has been some journey; all along the way we have been treated lovingly with respect and dignity. Graeme handled it with incredible strength, a sense of humour and was forever grateful for the help that was given. To Sally Tily and Ross Thomson at J. Fraser & Sons, your guidance and consideration was appreciated. There are too many to thank personally but your love and kindness and sympathy will never be forgotten as we come to terms with our loss.

David, Glenys, Peter and families, along with Elaine’s siblings, wish to thank all who cared for her over her long illness, including Hospice Southland, the team at the Oncology Departments at both Kew Hospital and Dunedin Hospital, Dr Lolita and staff at South City Medical Centre, and Bevan and team at J Fraser & Sons Funeral Directors. That Mum/Elaine was able to arrange her own funeral was a source of both comfort and amusement for her and all of us.
