Peacefully in the loving care of Calvary on Friday 9 September 2022; aged 100 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Michael, much loved mother and mother-in- law of Russell*, Denise*, Ray*, Marilyn, Murray* and Lyn, Evelyn, Barbara and David. A loved Grandmother of all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In accordance with Velna’s wishes a private service has been held.

HENDERSON, Leo Richard (Butch):
Unexpectedly on Tuesday, 13th September 2022, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Cathie for 63 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Maree & Wiri Kerr, Julie & Greg Erskine, Richard & Susie, and special friend of Wayne & Sue Edgerton. Loved Grandad of his 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. A service to celebrate Leo’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Saturday, 17th September at 10:30 am. The service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Passed away peacefully 13/09/2022 at Longwood Care Home in Riverton in her 94th year. Loving wife of the late James Lillicrapp. Loved mother-in-law of Owen (deceased) and Kay Simpson (Australia), Colin and Daphne Simpson (Nightcaps), Ross and Diane Simpson (Christchurch), Kerry (deceased) and Grace Everet (Alexandra). Also mother of Pat and Glenda Campbell (Alexandra). Beloved friend of Garth.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 7 September; in his 89th year 2022, surrounded by his family. Monty lived a full life adored by his 9 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was a devoted husband to Myra for 64 years and a father who deeply loved his children Glenn and Liz McDonald, Toni McDonald, and Paula and Doug Nicolson. A much loved son, brother and uncle. A service to celebrate Monty’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Tuesday 20 September at 1.30pm. Interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery. McMASTER, Heather Rae:
Passed away peacefully in the Robina Hospital, Gold Coast, Australia, on September 9, 2022, after a short illness. Dearly loved wife of the late Barry, loved Mum of Corey and Dion, mother-in-law of Anna and Harmony, and Grandmother of Mavis, Julia, Barry, Joshua and Josiah. Dearly loved daughter-in-law of the late Cargill and Myra McMaster, and loved sister-in-law of Des and Phil McMaster (Waimate), and aunty to Hayley, Stacey, Julia, and families.
