FAHEY, Brenda Mary (nee Greenall). Suddenly, at Dunedin Hospital on March 13, 2019; aged 92 years. Loved wife of the late Tom, a loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Michael, Juliann, Christine and Steve Blanchard, Sean and Dorothy, a cherished Nana of Gavin; Phillip, Anita, and Natalie; Grant, and Caitlin. A farewell Mass and service for Brenda will be held on Monday, March 18 at 11.00am in St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Colonsay Street, Lawrence, then leaving for the Lawrence Cemetery. MOLLOY, Russell. 5.1.1958 – 13.3.2019 It is with great sadness that we Russell’s family, inform you of his passing while in care of Longwood Care Home, Riverton. Russell is the eldest child of Margaret and Peter Molloy (Deceased) Colac Bay. Big brother, brother-in-law. uncle and surrogate grandparent to: Rosina and Eddie Halder, Kim and Andrew Watters, John and Jarryl Halder, Alexis and J.D, Lynley and David McKay, Travis, Kirsten, and Hemi McKay, Rebecca McKay, Neroli and Stephen Vile, Brodie and Amber Brown, Ciara, Declan, Bean, Luke Brown, and Saphia Lambert. At Russell’s request his service will be held at the Colac Bay Hall, on Monday 18th March at 2pm, followed by interment at the Riverton Cemetery. Dress code to be bright and casual. For those who attended Jim’s funeral, some travelling long distances, thank you. For the beautiful flowers and cards we received and the lovely baking/food that arrived daily, we are truly grateful. The numerous cards, phone calls, text messages and words of support, along with the flowers, food, visits and offers of help at the time of Mary’s passing have been overwhelming. This is so characteristic of the great Winton community that Mary so loved being a part of. We wish to thank all those that attended Mary’s funeral, especially those that travelled to be with us – you certainly helped make it a great celebration of her life. Hamish Wyatt, the wonderful nursing and medical staff from the Winton district nurses, the Winton medical centre and the Southland and Dunedin public hospitals.
