BURKE, Elsie Angeline (nee Shaw):
Passed peacefully on 10 November 2022, aged 82 years. Dearly loved daughter of Ted (dec) and Nellie (dec) Shaw of Riverton. Loved sister of Avise (dec), Edward (dec), Mick and Phillip (dec). Sister-in-law and friend of Janine. Aunty Elsie to all her nieces and nephews and Aunty Mouse to her Great-Niece and Nephews.
Elsie has run her last race.

DICKSON, John Eades:
On Wednesday, November 9, 2022 peacefully at home. Aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Heather for 61 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Julie; Catherine and Michael; Fiona and Dave. Adored grandad of Ezra, Otis, Niamh; and Lawson.
The road was long and varied, travelled to the fullest.
No longer in our lives to share, but in our hearts,
you’ll always be there.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at Woodlands Estate, 42 Whitikahu Road, Gordonton, on Thursday, November 17, at 11.00am. ROSS, Stuart John (Stu):
26/3/47-5/11/22
Much loved husband, father, grandfather, favourite brother, uncle and mate to Di, Pete, Kara, Nikki, Matt, Warren, Tracey, Josh, Ella, Sophie, Chloe, Diesel, Leith, extended family and Island friends. Stu passed peacefully at his beloved Island home in the company of his Island family. As we all know Stu enjoyed solitude and didn’t like a fuss. SMITH, Judith Diane (Judi):
On Thursday, 10 November, 2022, peacefully at home, aged 76 years. Cherished wife of the late Graham, loved mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Joanne, Barrie, Catherine and Ron, Elizabeth and David, treasured Gran of Ryan, Lachlan, Annalise, Conor, Brittany, Nikita, Tahlia, Sophie, Samuel, Lara, and Karena. A celebration of Judi’s life will be held in the Lincoln Baptist Church, 109 Carnavernon Drive, Lincoln, on Tuesday, 15 November, at 1.30pm, followed by interment at the Lincoln Cemetery. ‘In Christ alone my hope is found.’

On Monday 7th November 2022, in his 76th year after a long illness, finally at peace. Loved son of Hector* and Ethel*, loved brother of Murray and June, Stewart and Jean, Trevor*and Ann, Ian and Prue, Colleen, Margaret and Ian, Dianne and Keith, Barry and Marie. Much loved father and father -in law of Roger and Penny and Maree. Loved grandfather of Philippa, Rebecca, and Kaylee. Kevin was a much-loved brother-in-law of the Shaw family. Dearly loved & loving husband of Jill (59 years) Adored Dad & Dad in-Law of Stuart, Lorraine & Warren, Nina & David. Loving Grandad of Kea, Anthony, Kadin, Daniel, Alisa, Loghan & Cameron. Son of the late Thomas William & Jessica Florence (York, England) & Brother of the late Pam, and Peter. A lover of golf and an armchair sportsman. Forever thankful that we had you as long as we did. Your ready smile and Yorkshire humour will be sorely missed. We are extremely grateful for the level of care he received from Dr. Jacqui Walker & the team at Catherine St Medical Centre and the St Johns ambulance team. A service is being held at All Saints Church, 509 Dee Street Gladstone, Invercargill on Thursday 17th November at 11:00 am to be followed by a private burial at Eastern Cemetry.
