Suddenly on Sunday, 3rd July 2022. Dearly loved husband of Joanne and dearly cherished Dad of Cheryl and father-in-law of Greig. With heavy hearts we say farewell to Marcus who passed away after a long battle, age 46. Dearly loved eldest child of Brenda, and Ray. Passed away peacefully after a courageous journey on Thursday 30 June 2022, surrounded by love. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Ted for 56 years. Cherished mother and mother in law of Maree Jacques, Di and Bob Cullen, Chris and Phil Penney (Omamara), Paddy and Rae Jacques (Melbourne), and Teresa and Paul Reithmaier (Auckland). Loved Nana of Nikita and John, Michael and Sarah-Jane; Liam and Holly, Sam and Maddy; Jordaine and Ana Jordane, Shay, Caleb, Lacey, Nevaeh, Aria, Whaiaupou Iti, Shi; Briar, Finn and Max. Loved sister and sister in law of Terry* and Gloria Burns, Barry and Elaine* Burns, and Helen Burns, Heather and Roger Collett and all the extended Jacques family. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Family would like to sincerely thank Sarah-Jean, Kate, Rebecca and the nursing staff of Hospice Southland for their special care and support.
