Suddenly on Sunday, 3rd July 2022. Dearly loved husband of Joanne and dearly cherished Dad of Cheryl and father-in-law of Greig. Loved son of Margaret and Francis* and son-in-law of Gwen and Peter and a loved brother and brother-in-law. A service to celebrate David’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Thursday, 7th July at 10:00am. The service will conclude with a private cremation. HAWKEs, Marcus:
With heavy hearts we say farewell to Marcus who passed away after a long battle, age 46. Dearly loved eldest child of Brenda, and Ray. Big brother and brother in-law to Heidi and Craig; Luaan and Chantelle; Larissa and Paul; Nadine and John; Christian and Jackie; and the late Reuben. JACQUES, Patricia Mary (Pat):
Passed away peacefully after a courageous journey on Thursday 30 June 2022, surrounded by love. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Ted for 56 years. Cherished mother and mother in law of Maree Jacques, Di and Bob Cullen, Chris and Phil Penney (Omamara), Paddy and Rae Jacques (Melbourne), and Teresa and Paul Reithmaier (Auckland). Loved Nana of Nikita and John, Michael and Sarah-Jane; Liam and Holly, Sam and Maddy; Jordaine and Ana Jordane, Shay, Caleb, Lacey, Nevaeh, Aria, Whaiaupou Iti, Shi; Briar, Finn and Max. Loved sister and sister in law of Terry* and Gloria Burns, Barry and Elaine* Burns, and Helen Burns, Heather and Roger Collett and all the extended Jacques family. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Family would like to sincerely thank Sarah-Jean, Kate, Rebecca and the nursing staff of Hospice Southland for their special care and support. Peacefully at Peacehaven Village, on Saturday, July 2, 2022, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Brian. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Robyn and Nick (Australia), Helen, Susan and John (Invercargill), Peter and Cynthia (Australia). Loved grandmother and great-grandmother of Martin, Kim, Max and Pippa; Alice, Josh, Dylan and Ava; Bree, the late Andrew. Mathew and boys. A private cremation has been held but a service to celebrate Eleanor’s life will be held at the Lindisfarne Methodist Church, on Friday, July 8, at 2.00pm. Passed away peacefully, with Frank by her side, on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Resthaven, Gore. Dearly loved wife of Frank. Mum of Kevin and Charmaine Blair, loved Granny of Ben, Michaela, Jessica, Billy, Jack and Tom. Dearly loved sister of her brothers and sisters. A service to celebrate Anne’s life will be held at the Southland Crematorium, Rockdale Road, Invercargill, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 2.30pm. Peacefully, on July 3, 2022, at Clutha Health First; aged 92 years. Loved wife of *Cornelius, much loved mother and respected Oma of *Helena and *Barry, Ruth, Christopher, and Leigh Morton; Petronella and Brian, Rachel, *David, and Sharlene Waddingham; Cristine, Melissa, Stephanie, Martyn, and James Joyce; Cornelis and *Karen, and Michelle, Rebecca, Stacey, Nicole, and Kelly; Pieter and Liz, Bryce, Sonja, and Danielle; Yvonne and Tom, Justine, Nicolas, Richard, and David Winn; Rachal and Sam, Chantalle, and Kaleb Fegan and Tyson, and a cherished Oma to all of her great-grandchildren. A service for Emmy will be held on Thursday, July 7, at 1.00pm in our Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, followed by interment at the Balclutha Lawn Cemetery.
