JOHNSTON, Donald Alexander (Don). Passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Gore Hospital. Cherished husband and best friend of Sue, beloved father of Hannah and Nicole, dearest son-in-law of Marion Saxton and Jock Fairbairn. Much loved brother-in-law, and uncle, of Andrew and Colleen; Peter; Jana and fiancé Troy.

KELLIHER, Beryl Marion. Of Alexandra. Born 1923 passed peacefully on January 15, 2019, with her family beside her at Ranui Rest Home. Loved wife of the late Tom, loved mother of Steve and the late Shirley, Tony and Lyn, Chris and Pam, loved gran of Marie and Clair, Kystal, Annah and Brittany, loved great-gran of Vander and Maeve, Ahlia and Macey, Lucy and Phoebe, loved aunty of Diane and Len. A special thanks to the staff of Ranui for their loving care of Beryl. In accordance with Beryl’s wishes a cremation has taken place and a service and an interment notice will follow at a later date. WHITE, Gwen (formerly McDougall). Passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019; aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife of John* White, and Joe* McDougall. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Stuart*, Ronnie and Donna, Peter and Deborah, and friend of Karen McDougall. Loved stepmother of Ken and Jasmin. Much loved nanny of her grandchildren Justin, Holly; Craig, Ranee; Joseph, Aleisha and partners and Lucas and her 8 great-granddaughters. Gwen’s family wish to thank the wonderful staff of Donovan wing at Rowena Jackson for their care. A service to celebrate Gwen’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Wednesday, January 23, at 10.30am, followed by an interment at the Wallacetown Cemetery.
