It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear dad Des, on Sunday 13 September 2020; aged 73 years. The silver Irish fox has gone to heaven to be with Joey our dear mum the love of his life to sing their fine tunes together. Beloved father and father-in-law of Des & Maddi, Tina & Shannon, Mike & Waiinu, Davey, and Jodi & Rob. Adored Pa of all his treasured mokos. Dearly loved brother of Connie.  Dad will be lying in state at 147 Black Road Otatara until his service on Tuesday 15 September, 1.00pm at the Southland Crematorium Chapel, Rockdale Road Invercargill. EDMONDS, James Peter (Jim):
Peacefully on September 10, 2020 at Clutha Views Lifecare, with his loving family by his side, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Patricia, much loved father and father-in-law of Michelle Maurice (Mosgiel), Phil and Judi (Omarama), Debbie and Paul Gouman (Greenfield), Greg and Sally (Dunedin), and a treasured Grandad of Tony, Kelly and Joe; Lucinda and Terry, Kirsty and Rodger; Leah, Tegan, Scott; Keaton, and Brenna, and Great-Grandad of Madison, Mason, Macsen, and Ruby. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Maree and the late Bob Way, Broday and the late Lois Edmonds, and a much loved uncle of all Patricia and Jim’s nieces and nephews.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Jim on Tuesday, September 15, at 1.30pm in St Mary MacKillop Catholic Church, Gordon Street, Balclutha, then leaving for the Balclutha Lawn Cemetery. Passed away with family at his side on Thursday, September 10, 2020. Much loved husband of Mary, and adored father and father-in-law of Patricia (Dunedin), Anne McLean and Marten de Groot, Carmen and Graeme Conijn, Simon, Virginia and Roy Stephens, Susan and John Blance, all of Wellington; respected and loved by Nicola and Paul Chapman (Port Chalmers), Alastair and Mary McLean (Rotorua), Lloyd and Kerry McLean (Invercargill), and Basil and Sarah McLean (Progress Valley). Dearly loved Grandpa, Dampa, and Keithy of Elspeth, Gabriella, Josie, Nicolaas, Frida, Sean, Katelin, Jackson, Gael, Anne, Beth, Cora, Clare, Thomas, Callum, Theresa, Kayla, Monte, Emma, Lucy, Millie, Rex and great-grandson Mateo. At Keith’s request, a simple service to celebrate his life will be held at Affinity Funerals, 141 Centennial Ave, Alexandra on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10.30am, followed by time for family and friends to mix, mingle, grieve and laugh. At a later date, a plaque will be unveiled in the McLean Family Plot at the Eastern Cemetery, Invercargill. It is with heavy hearts we announce that Mum passed away peacefully in her 87th year on Friday 11 September 2020, at Rowena Jackson. Loving wife of the late Trevor McNeilly. Treasured mum and mother in law of Malcolm and Judy, Trudy and Wayne Tecofsky and Rick and Sarah. Adored Granny of Alysha and Todd, Ryan and Kylie, Travis and Renee, Sarah, Kylie, Rachel, Todd and Kayla, Josh, Hayley, Ben, Zoe and Tom and Nadia.
