On Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Yvette Williams Retirement Village, Special Care Unit; aged 73 years. Dearly loved partner of Janet Black, much loved and respected father of Annika Dawkins, loved step-father of Michael, and Chris Wilson, much loved and respected brother, brother-in-law and best friend of Bill and Julie Dawkins, loved brother of Catherine Palmer, loved Granddad of Moss; Matai, Kae, and Leila Wilson, loved and respected uncle of Edward and Alysha Dawkins, Tom Dawkins, Monique, and Matthew Palmer. The family would like to particularly thank Nicola and the whole team of amazing nurses and caregivers in the Special Care Unit for their wonderful care of Kevin over the past three years. A Service for Kevin will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 2.00pm, on Saturday, July 16, followed by a private cremation. Sadly after a courageous battle passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022. Cherished loving husband and soulmate of Jan. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Neil and Jasmine, Brendan and Ashleigh, Dean and Kylie. Loved stepfather to Stephen, Hayden and Mandy, Nicola and Allan, Cameron and Nikki, and Sarah. A Requiem Mass to celebrate Brian’s life will be held in the St Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic, Perth Street, Invercargill on Friday 15th July at 1:00pm, the service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery.
