Of Wanaka, formerly of Heriot, passed peacefully after a brief illness at Ripponburn Resthome, Cromwell on August 16, 2022. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of George and Elaine (Cromwell), Donald and Annette (Ashburton), much loved uncle to Lynn and Andrew, Duncan and Rachael, Fraser and Susie; Bronwyn and Steve, Patricia and Ian, David and Alix, Michelle and Neil; a loved great Uncle. Passed away quickly and peacefully in the wonderful care of the Calvary staff on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, aged 88 years. Loved son of the late Harry and Isabella Turner. Loved brother of Thelma* (sister), Bob*, John*, Colin* and Nola. One of a kind Uncle of the Dermody, Downey and Turner families.
