SPENCER, Basil Carmen. Peacefully at Vickery Court Rest Home, Invercargill on Tuesday 7th August 2018. Loved eldest son of Jeannie* & Carmen* Spencer, late of Nightcaps. Loved brother & brother-in-law of Melva & Brian Tattersfield, Yvonne & Gordon* Smith (Feilding), twin brother of Lesley & Jack Smith (Ohai), Neville & Daphne, Robyn* & Margaret (Tauranga), Desiree (Wellington). Loved uncle of all his nephews & nieces. The family would like to thank the staff of Vickery Court Rest Home for the wonderful care Basil received and the fun times he had with them A private cremation & family service has been held for Basil, but a memorial service will be held at Southern Lakes Funerals, 1076 Frankton Road, Queenstown on Saturday 18th August 2018 at 1pm. ALDERSON, Colin Arnold. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, in Nelson, aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of Adrienne. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Philip and Deb, Rachelle and Rob, Simon and Kate, Justin, Keren and Tim. Loved Dad-dad of his 13 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held for Colin at Seaview Cemetery, Nelson, on Saturday, August 18, at 2.30pm, God willing.

FRASER, Noeline Freda. 22.12.1931 – 17.08.2017 Those we love don’t go away,

HAMILL, Francis Joseph. Frank passed away peacefully at Calvary Hospital on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, with his daughters and the caring staff at his side. Aged 90 years. Loved and devoted husband and companion of May*. Loved and respected father, father-in-law and Grandad of Gloria and Bruce Miller, James and Jessica, Barbara and Peter Howley, Regan, Glen and Jenna, Kendall and Tyrone. Great- Grandad to Emma, Austin, Shaun, Emily and Hugo Howley. Special person to Kathleen. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Eileen, Don*, Bob* and Irene*, Rose, Sid* and John * Folly, Georgina and Bob Houston*.

McDONALD, Eileen Margaret. Formerly of Merrivale and Winton. Passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018, aged 95. Dearly loved wife of the late Roderick John (Roddy). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Heather and Geoff Adams, Doug and Heather McDonald (Picton), Neil and Heather McDonald, Dorothy and Richard Steentjes (Portobello). Loved grand and great-grandmother of her 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Loved sister of the late Ethel Beal, and the late Winnie Newton. A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, on Monday, August 20, at 2.30pm, followed by private cremation.
