Drug dealers in Southland have been targeted in a recent operation assisted by staff from across the district, including a South Island drug detection dog.
Search warrants in Gore and the Southland area uncovered drugs and a stolen vehicle.
Senior Sergeant Gary Iddenten from Southern Police says the operation targeted several addresses and arrested four people.
"We found Class A and B drugs and a stolen vehicle."
Investigations are continuing and further arrests are likely.
"We will continue to target those who supply drugs no matter where you live. Substances like these have the potential to cause extreme harm and damage in our communities."

Charges:
- A 57-year-old man is due in Invercargill District Court, 6 October, on charges related to cultivating class B drugs.
- A 40-year-old man is remanded in custody to appear in Gore District Court, 20 October, on charges relating to possession/supply of class A and unrelated charges.
- A 45-year-old woman is due in Gore District Court, 28 October, on charges relating to possession/supply of class A.
- A 39-year-old woman is due in Gore District Court, 28 October, on possession and supply charges.
