First By Election Poll Results, Might Be A Three Horse Race
Here are the results from our by election poll.
It was interesting watching the results come in with David Meades taking a lead from the start and Steve Broad & Lisa Tou McNaughton duking it out for 2nd spot, with Broad taking a lead over McNaughton. Total votes of 244 completed, compared to our mayoral polling in last years local council election where we had three polls with an average of 1,000 votes completed.
The top three candidates lead by quite a margin with Meads on 58, Broad 8 behind on 50 and big gap for third placer McNaughton on 33, dropping down to Rob Te Miharo in 4th with 17 and Asha Dutt on 15 in fifth place.
