The upcoming final clearance auction for H&J Smith Department Store is set to be a significant event, featuring a vast array of high-quality items, as detailed by Lynzy, an auctioneer from William Todd & Co. Lynzy explains the contrast between this auction and the previous one, noting, “The last one was more mannequins, shop fittings, display cabinets etc.

This one there’s a big variety and It’s all good quality stuff from Tools, Appliances, Large Selection of Ladders, Shelving & Racking, Office Furniture, Electronics, Copper Kettle Restaurant Sundries, and a wide variety of miscellaneous items. Just about everything apart from kitchen sink”.

When asked about standout items for this auction, Lynzy highlights, “The chiller and the freezer, yep, that’ll be the sales of the day, those two things”.

The auction and viewing will take place on the ground floor of the building only, with viewing times:
3pm to 6pm on Thursday, 9 May 2024, and Friday, 10 May 2024. An early morning viewing is also available on Saturday, 11 May 2024, from 8am to 9:30am.
