EIS were finalists for seven projects across four categories in the 2022 Master Electrician Excellence Awards held in Auckland, last Friday.

This was out of 75 entries from Master Electrician members throughout New Zealand, the most entries ever submitted.  The awards are biennial and celebrate the best of the best in New Zealand.

EIS won Silver and Bronze in the ‘Innovation’ category, and were also pleasantly surprised that engineer Lorenz Wolf was recognised by the Master Electrician judges for his attention to detail and constant striving towards excellence.

Lorenz was presented with a special recognition award for his depth of knowledge, skills and passion towards EIS and his team.

The Silver Award for Innovation was for designing and building two large product batching and mixing machines. These machines were commissioned concurrently in locations in the South and North Island.

The team used their experience and knowledge to provide the concept for the mixer and partnered with their client as principal contractor to design, construct, and commission this new piece of innovative technology.

The Bronze Award for Innovation was for the design, build, and construct of electrical and automation for the largest wind tunnel in the Southern Hemisphere.

As leaders in innovation and automation solutions, EIS’ vast experience and unique perspective can bring all manner of projects to life.

Based in Southland and Canterbury, EIS delivers automation and industrial electrical engineering projects all over New Zealand, and afar to international locations.
