Police have released the name of the man found dead in Invercargill on Sunday morning. He was Quinn David McIntyre, 42, from Hāwea Flat.
McIntyre was found dead near the intersection of Sydney Street and St Andrew Street on Sunday morning.
His death was being treated as unexplained and the police investigation was ongoing.
Police have reported that emergency services are on the scene after a person was found deceased near the intersection of Sydney Street and St Andrew Street in Invercargill this morning.
The death was reported to the police at 9:25 a.m. Currently, no further information is available. Cordons have been established, and the public is advised to follow the instructions of emergency service personnel.
