Dave Bartley – R I P

Sad news to report the passing of Invers identity Dave Bartley

Dave passed away at Hospice Southland last Thursday at an age that was far too young.

Dave was well known about our city as a top real estate agent, part of Team Bartley under the Harcourts umbrella.

Dave was also behind the the incredibly popular and successful Fight For Kidz boxing fundraising events.

The success of Fight For Kidz was in no small part down to Dave’s passion for Boxing and his untiring support for those less fortunate than others.

Dave’s untimely passing at just 52 years of age has left a gaping hole, as one commentator posted as a tribute,  love to those carrying his legacy forward.  There is a big workload for those who will be carrying forward that legacy.

As the death notice reads, Our tree has fallen, our rock has moved and the final bell has been rung in the bout.

A farewell and Celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Tuesday 13th September, 1pm, ILT Stadium Southland, Invercargill.
