Dash for Cash at Northern Southland Trotting Club Meeting at Ascot Park Raceway

Harness driver Ellie Barron has promised to make a 100 metre dash in costume at the Northern Southland Trotting Club meeting at Ascot Park Raceway in Invercargill on Saturday if $1000 is pledged to the Teal Pants Campaign. You can make your donation to SBS 031355 04511 20 00 50 and use the reference NSTC TEAL or donate at the race day office on course on Saturday.

It gets better though…. if we can reach $2000 it will become a match race between Ellie and fellow harness driver Kirstin Barclay (also in costume). The race will take place after Race 10 on Saturday so get pledging so we can enjoy a superb match race while raising money for the great cause of research into Ovarian Cancer.

….. and in a late development today Southern Harness Racing Board member Tom Kilkelly was challenged to also enter with a suitable cash enticement should he take part in the race against the ladies – the Teal Pants campaign in the south is about to come to a spectacular end!!
