One person has died after a crash on Tiwai Road, Tiwai Point, Invercargill. Police were called to the incident around 8pm. A motorcyclist died at the scene. Police are investigating. The Serious Crash Unit are also in attendance assisting with a scene examination.
One person has died following a jet boat crash last night on the Hollyford River, Fiordland National Park, Southland. Police were called at about 8.45pm. Another person is understood to have sustained serious injuries. Police are investigating the death on behalf of the Coroner.
