Mike Pero Southland and Central Otago franchise owner Sheree Williams has sold the most houses nationwide for the company in 2023, taking home the two top awards.
At the Mike Pero ‘2k23’ conference last week she was awarded Top NZ individual for her impressive amount of house sales, proving the market is not slowing down.
Also awarded Top Producer nationwide (highest value of sales overall), she was a finalist in five other categories personally, and seven overall across her Southland, Gore and Central Otago franchises.
Her secret to success? “Just being myself, being down to earth and genuine as well as having such a passion for the work and the people,” she said.
This is Sheree’s eighth year in real estate. In 2019 she was named ‘Rookie of the Year’ for Mike Pero Real Estate and has never looked back.
“Selling in the deep South and achieving these awards is a testament to my passion and hard work.
“Having a median sale price so much lower than other areas of the country and that in some areas, half or a third of the price means I’ve had to sell so many more to not only qualify as a finalist, but to take home the win.”
Starting out studying architectural design and then moving into interior design, Sheree found that her love was more about the houses themselves, and the people she worked with.
“I always knew I would come into real estate, but I initially thought it was more for middle-aged people. I wanted to bring this new cutting edge side to real estate.”
Of course she couldn’t have done it without the support from clients, crew, business partners, friends, family and her husband Ben, who she describes as her biggest cheerleader.
“I cannot express enough how much I love what I do and how blessed and lucky I am to work with so many epic people. Thank you team for allowing me to be the best agent I can be. I adore you all.”
