There is now less than four weeks to go until we hear ‘away and racing’ at the annual Christmas at the Races.
All marquees and hospitality packages are now sold out, with many businesses returning to take part in the action once again.
Southland Racing Club President Sean Bellew said “The people have spoken, it’s a sell out. Only general admission on the day. Don’t forget the official after-party, the Final Furlong, and your sunglasses!”
Only general admission and NZME tickets are available to purchase either online or on the day.”
The big addition to this years event is The Final Furlong after-party for those that want to continue celebrating the day. Event Manager Ana Corkery was estatic when approval was given “It’s really exciting to be able to offer something new to our guests and provide them with a new experience” We have secured Matt Turnbull from Nightlife DJs who has a line-up of DJs who will keep you dancing till 9pm.
Alongside the great entertainment we also have our food vendors on site as well the introduction of The Crafty Boys and Pink Ladies Garden party area which will provide craft beers and other specialty beverages throughout the whole event.”
