On Friday, the Southland Chamber of Commerce was proud to host the Glass Elevator Professional Women’s Networking ‘Women Inspiring Women Conference NOT Conference’. The event, which was held at Bill Richardson Transport World, saw five inspirational leaders take to the stage in the name of learning, engaging and connecting.
Those who attended were able to hear presentations from New Zealand Police Superintendent Tania Kura, Chief Auntie Jackie Clark QSM, director Rebecca Keoghan MNZM, and HW Richardson Group director Jocelyn O’Donnell.
According to the Southland Chamber of Commerce events and marketing manager Michelle McSoriley, feedback for the not conference had been “great”.
“Lots of laughs and some great inspirational takeaways,” she said.
After each inspirational woman spoke, all speakers were invited to form a panel with Sarah McCarthy as MC. Audience members could then ask anonymous questions through SLIDO software which were presented on the screen for the speakers to answer.
Southland Chamber of Commerce would like to thank Glass Elevator sponsors for their support of this event, including BDO Invercargill, Southern Institute of Technology, H&J Smith Department Store, HR South, BNZ, and Computer Concepts Limited.
