Police have received reports over the last two weeks or so of road signs deliberately being run over in the Winton/Central Southland area.

Some of these signs have included Give Way and Stop signs – this creates a significant risk to motorists who may not know the signs are supposed to be there.

There are large 4×4 tyre marks located near each site.
