Formerly of Invercargill – On March 6, 2023, peacefully at Summerset at Bishopscourt, Dunedin, surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband of Kelly for 61 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Michael and Tracy (Australia), Peter and Sachiyo (Wanaka), Jenny (Melbourne), Anna and Ryan Halls* (Dunedin), Andrew (Wellington), Johnathan and Nicola (Christchurch), and Simon (Dunedin), proud grandfather of his nine grandchildren. Bill wished us to express our warmest thanks to the staff of Summerset for all the love, care, and support you gave us during Bill’s time in your care. R.I.P.

Peacefully at home on March 6, 2023, in his 78th year. Incredibly loved husband of Eleanor, devoted father and father-in-law to Douglas and Gloria, Darrin and Tracey, Sharyn and Deane, Janeece and Prudy. Adored grandad and great-grandad, uncle, brother and beloved friend. As per Spotty’s request a private celebration will be held at a later date. GRANT, Elfreda Hazel (Hazel):
Peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Ranui Rest Home, Alexandra, aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late George, loved mother and mother-in-law of Mel, Pauline and Richard (all of Australia), and the late Jeff. Much loved by Trish and Alistair Haggerty, Nana/Nan to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and dearly loved friend of Sandra and Gerry Sutherland. MACDONALD, Elspeth Margaret (née Stalker):
Elspeth passed peacefully at Southland Hospital on Friday 3 March 2023, in her 83rd year.
Loved wife of the late Colin. Loved sister of Shirley Anderson and the late Lachlan Stalker. Very much loved Mum and mum-in-law of Marion & Simon Lewis, Dougal & Lynley, Heather Macdonald & Elliot Nott, and Andrew.
Cherished Grandma of Jared, Ben; Jamie, Braydon, Olivia, Connor; Michael, Amy; and Ashleigh. Loved Great Grandma of Violet; Luca, and Marlee and loved sister-in-law of Virginia & Trevor Cochran and John & Diane Macdonald; Isobel and extended Stalker family.
