28-11-1942 – 3-12-2023. It’s with great sadness that Val Skinner, Allison Craig and Tom, announce their loved brother passed away on Sunday at Dunedin Public Hospital. Son of Tom and Eva Plato (formerly Te Anau). He has joined his parents and siblings John, Evelyn, Ernie and Robin. A stalwart of Canterbury rugby, and a harness racing follower, he enjoyed his latter years moving south to be closer to family. A much loved brother, and uncle to his nieces and nephews, a kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed.
