On March 29, 2023, suddenly at his home in Christchurch. Son of the late Allan and Eleanor Auckram, brother and brother-in-law of Lance (deceased) and Judy, Carol, Ross (deceased), Susanne and Stewart, loved uncle, great uncle, friend and work colleague. Special thanks to the Hillview Christian School community for the love and support shown both over the years of employment and now at this time of his sudden loss. Peacefully, on Monday, April 3, 2023, in her 96th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Susan*, Rohan and Jenny, Anne-Marie and Struan McCrostie, Lisa and Shane Thompson, and Zella Downing, adored Nana of her grandchildren, Zelia, Zack, and Zeb; Megan, Sarah, and Joe; Bobby and David; and her 4 great-grandchildren. Following a private family mass and interment, a joyful celebration of Claire’s life will be held at the Riversdale Community Centre, Newcastle Street, on Wednesday, April 12, at 2.00pm.
