Passed peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2023, aged 61. Dearly loved wife of Colin. Much loved Mum of Amber and Veronica. Loved sister and sister-in-law of all hers and Colin’s siblings, as well as her extended family. In accordance with Jeana’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. DICKSON, Samuel Robert John (Sam):
Aged 24. Cherished youngest son of Alex and Sonya. Beautiful grandson of the late Dexter and Bev McKenzie (Tapanui) and Vivienne and the late Bill Dickson (Mosgiel). Never forgotten brother of Joshua and Caylin, Shania, Tarryn, and uncle to Clair. Nephew, cousin and friend to many. Special support from Gary, Cath, Toran. GLOZIER, Pamela Mary:
Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Thursday 25th May 2023. Dearly loved & cherished partner of Tony, much loved Mum of Shani, & Tyrone & Victoria, Loved Nanny of Katelyn, Cruz, Ella, & James. Loved daughter of Mary* & Bill*, Loved Sister and Sister-in-law of Anne & Colin Smith, Totty, Beverley* Brown, Tony & Heather, & Kevin*, Loved Aunty of all her nieces & nephews. Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on May 26, 2023. Loving husband to Denise, and much loved father of Bryce, Lisa and Paul. Loved grandad to Carter and Brodie. Loving brother and brother-in-law to Paul and Christine, Kevin and Karen Hoffman, Mary and Tony Henderson, Michael and Bridget Hoffman, Kay and Mike, Mark and Donna Hoffman. Son-in-law to Ethel Bacon, and brother and brother-in-law to Rose and Barry Field, Linda and Barry Harvey, Karen and Jimi Walsh, Selina and Geoff Popenhagen, Jill and David McIver, Bryan and Chelisa Bacon, and loving uncle and cousin to many. A service will be held at 1.00pm, on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Saint Peter Chanel Church, Main Road, Green Island, where a donation box for Otago Community Hospice will be available for those who wish to contribute in memory of Steve. Following the service, refreshments will be available for family and friends to gather at Island Park Golf Course, Waldronville, Dunedin. After a courageous battle. Carolyn passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland, on Friday, 26 May 2023. Much loved wife and best friend of the late Ray. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Marcus, Scott and Amanda, and Louise. A very proud Nana of Claudia, the late Emma Rose, Isobel, Charlie, Hollie and Leilah. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Judy and Bill Beaumont (Nelson), Colin and Christine Whitaker, Glenda and Brian Brown (Alexandra). Loved daughter of the late Perc and Norma Edney, and daughter-in-law of the late Ev and Ivan Whitaker. Much loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. The Whitaker family wish to thank the Doctors and Staff at Hospice Southland for taking exceptional care of Carolyn.
