Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday 23 May 2024. Aged 72 years. Very much loved husband of Anne. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Mark and Maureen, and Deborah. Loved step-father of Richard, Ruth, and Kevin Peoples. Step-grandad of Kole Peoples. Dearly loved uncle and cousin to many. Peacefully at Rowena Jackson on Saturday 25 May 2024 in his 90th year. Dealy loved husband of Daphne for 65 years. Much loved Dad and father-in-law of Vicki and Ross Keen, and Lindsay. Granpa to Bridgett and Ross, Natasha and Bevan, Melissa, Kristen, and Kimberley; Great-Grandpa to Kate and Lucy, Riley and Flynn, Tyler and Brooklyn. Loved brother and brother-in-law to Fraser and Heather, Hec and Robin*, and friend of Eleanor. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. The family are very grateful to the staff of Rowena Jackson for their care and compassion to Bill. A service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held in the Winton Presbyterian Church, Meldrum Street, Winton on Wednesday 29 May at 10:30am follwed by private interment at Wairio Cemetery.
