BOWMAN, Donelda (Donnie):
Surrounded by her loving family, Donnie passed to be with her soulmate Naka on Monday 25th September 2023 after a strong and valiant fight to stay. Donnie was a dearly loved mate of Naka (deceased). Much loved Mum of Linda (deceased), John and Loma, Kathy Bowman, Shane and Katrina, Bernice and Pete Debono, Nora, Michael and Anya, Isobel and Scott. She was also a much-loved Nan and Great Nan to all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dearly loved friend to many and special friend of Frances Wharepapa and Bev Pou (deceased). Much loved daughter of Fred and Nellie and loved sister to all of her brothers and sisters and aunt to all her nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Donnie will be held at Avenal Park Funeral Home at 11am Monday 2nd October and the service will be live streamed and the link will be on the Avenal Park Website, Obituaries page under Donnie’s page.

Donnie will be resting at 54 Antrim Street until her service. An extra special thank you to the amazing staff at Peacehaven for taking such good care of Mum during her time spent there.

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland on Sunday 24th September 2023. Aged 84 years. Loving husband and best friend of Doris. Loved father and father in-law of Darin and Tracy, Grant and Amy, Stephen and Jennifer. Cherished Grandad of Scott, Callum, Stephen, Anthony; Jacob, Catherine; Oliver, Tomos, and Nicholas. Great grandad of Aiden and Madeleine. Loved godfather of Lance Dawson. A service will be held in St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 2 Devon Street Gore on Friday 29th September 2023 at 1.30pm. Followed by interment at Charlton Park Cemetery. Formerly of Manapouri. 11th May 1936 – 24 Sept 2023. Dearest husband of Esmay and the late Ann. Loved father and father-in-law of Alistair and Kathryn, Judith and Peter Boltlik, Jack and Rebekah, Donald and Ester, Tania and David Painting, Deborah, Michael and James Patterson and special chosen Dad of Lucy, Michael and Rory. Special grandfather to 22 and great-grandpop of 8. Passed away peacefully at Longwood Riverton surrounded by loved ones. Always in our minds, forever in our hearts. A service to celebrate Robbie’s life will be held at the Invercargill Christian Centre, Leet Street, Invercargill on Wednesday, 27th September 2023 at 10am. Raewyne passed away peacefully on Monday 25 September 2023; aged 74. Dearly loved wife of the late Kevin (Ginge). Loved mother of Jodie and the late Dean Smith, and Glenn and David Marx. Much loved and treasured Grandmother of Jacob and Ryan. Loved sister of Russell and Sharon Forbes, Nan and Peter Wright, and sister-in-law of Vic and Jocelyn Wilson.
