Peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, 21st September 2024 and in the care of Hospice Southland. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Colin. Cherished and loved mother of Brad and Misty, and Kylie and Shane and adored Nani of Dylan and Shakaia, Matt and Emily, Zane, Tori, Kara, and Mikaere. Much loved daughter of Cyril* and Alberta McKay and loved daughter-in-law of Ken* and Rata* Johnson. Loved sister of Debbie and Kevin, Trevor and Kelly, and Lyndal*. A loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews and best mate of Sue. A service to celebrate Karen’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Thursday, 26th September at 1:00pm, the service will conclude with the committal at the Southland Crematorium. On 12 September 2024 aged 92. Dearly loved wife of the late John, loving mother, and mother-in-law of Alister and Judi, Heather and Ian Smith, Chris and Ev, Ian and Katrina, and Ken and Jo. Proud Grandma of her 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Gwen*, Beatrice*, Andrew*, Alice*, Shirley*, Phyllis and Heather. Passed away peacefully at Cargill Rest home Invercargill on Monday 23 September 2024; aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Fonnie (Florence) Shirley, loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Allison, Steve and Debs, Kim Shirley and Barry Mouat. Cheeky Pop of his 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Adored eldest brother and brother-in-law of Pat and Colin Sinclair,

Passed away peacefully in the care of Iona Wing, Peacehaven, Invercargill on Friday, 20th September 2024, aged 77. Dearly loved husband of Ainslee for 56 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Debbie Stevens, Catherine and Chris O’Connor, and Sharon and Alistair Mitchell. Loved Pop of Molly, Flynn, Reuben, Maisie, Harry, Anna, Maddie, Georgia, Ronan, Keira, Blake, and Ethan. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Claire and Bill Hicks, Roy and Janet Stevens, Bill and Joan Stevens, and Arran and Christine Lowe. Third son of the late Harry and Mavis Stevens (Bluff) and son-in-law of the late Arthur and Marjorie Lowe (Bluff).
