of Stewart Island, passed peacefully on Tuesday 24 October, 2023, aged 81. Devoted wife of Owen, adored mother and mother-in-law of the late Vaughan, Jason and Tracey, Yolande and the late Indy. Much loved Nana of Kian. Loved sister and sister-in-law, Aunty and special Nana of her great nieces and nephew. Extra special thanks to Jide Samuels and the team at Good Partners. A service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Friday 27 October at 10am followed by private cremation. A memorial service at Stewart Island will be held at a later date. Peacefully at Calvary Hospital on Sunday 22 October 2023, after a short illness. In his 93rd year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of the late Phyl for 57 years, dearly loved and cherished father, father-in-law and friend of Ronnie*, Lynette, Dianne Bailey, Debbie and Grant Findley, Philip and Dawn (Christchurch), also the late Barry Bailey. Much loved and adored Grandad of Carla and Ricky, Caleb and Nikki, Monique and Sammy; Nathan and Merissa, Jarad and Gillian; Samantha and Quintin, Joseph and Natalie; Deanna, Hayley and Ken. Loved great Grandad of Paige, Abel, Georgia, Noah, Flynn, Lincoln, Hudson, Mila, Paigan, and William. Loved brother-in-law of Garth Drain, Murray Drain, and Ann Stoddart and a loved Uncle. THOMAS, Kerry Anne (Nee Lyders):
Kerry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday 21st October. Dearly loved partner of Barrie Morgan. Loved daughter of Betty and Pete Lyders. Devoted Mum, Mum-in-law, and friend to Danielle and Daniel, Courtney and Simon, Joel and Sean. Cherished Nana to Kaleb, Emelia and Aria and Kerry Cupcake to Meihana. Loved Sister and sister-in-law to Todd and Serena, and Aunty to her nieces and nephews and friend to the Thomas Family. At Kerry’s request, a private family cremation has been held. We extend a warm welcome to everyone who has known Kerry to come to a celebration of her life at Ascot Park Hotel on Sunday 29th October at 2 pm and stay on afterwards for Kerry’s final shout.
